In adjourned regular seebion of tiie Board of irubtecb of
the City of Lodi.thefollowing trustees being present: F.O.Hale,G.E.
Lawrence,C.A.Rich and L.Villinger. Absent: Trustee J.M.Blodgett.
President Lawrence presiding.
The minutes of the previous meeting,Sep.18th..were read
and approved.
The following applications for Building Permits were read
and granted:
Robert Adams,dwelling on lot 2 block 11;
Karl Ulmer,dwelling at SE Cor.Pleasant and First St.;
The report of the City Clerk for the fiscal year ending
June 3C,1911,was read,accepted and ordered filed.
The claim of J.M.McMahon for $9.CO,being for $3.00 paid
by him for labor to D.DePauli and $6.00 paid by him for demurrage
on car of oil,was allowed and ordered paid.
A communication from Western States Gas and Electric Co.,
setting forth what purported to be meter readings for August Power,
but what had no connection whatever with the terms of our contract
or relation to the bill for August power.was read and filed.
R.M.Soto Esq.. was present and stated that it was his 1M -
pression that it was the wish of the Board that Judge Jones and he
prepare the necessary proceedings to proceed with the street work.
Some discussion of the wort: at the pumping plant was had.
It developed from statements of Engineer Fink that it was the intent-
ion of Engineer Henderson to arrange the two pumps so that they could
not be compounded. This drew from Superintendent Henning a vigorous
protest,as this would do away with our high-pressure fire system.
It was reported that Henderson would be on the ground to -morrow.
On mction.the Board adjourned until September 28,1911,at
the usual hour and place.
