In regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City
of Lodi.the following trustees being present: J.M.Blodgett,G.B.
Lawrence,C.A.Rich and L.villinger. Absent: F.O.ale. President'
Lawrence presiding.
The minutes of the meeting of Sep.11,1911.were read and
approved.
A communication from H.H.Henderson.enclosinig a letter from
the Southern Pacific Company asking permission to raise their spur
track back of the Soda Works.was read.
On motion.the Clerk was instructed to write the S.P.Co.
that the raising of this grade as selineated on their blue print
would be agreeablito the Board.
W.O.Corbin stated that he wanted water at his new house
in the Barnhart Tract.
A communication signed by the following ::roperty owners
cn North and South Sacramento Streets.-W..O.Corbin.S.W.Hopkins,J.H.
Galloway,J.Bround,Jules Perrin.Mrs.M.J.WilliamsOn,Mrs.ii.M.Mason,
Mrs.ld.A.Rich.J.G.Miller,C.C.Milier and Mrs.Mary S.Lupton,-protesting
against the letting or advertising to be let of any contract to
pave the two blox on Sacramento Street south of Oak Street and the
two blox on Sacramento Street North of Elm Strest,was read and order-
ed filed.
ORDINANCE. N0.57.
Ordinance No.57,entitled."An Ordinance Levying Taxes in
the Year 1911 in Provision of Revenue for the Fiscal Year beginning
July 1,1912." having been introduced on Sep.iith.,was read and
placed on passage.
It was moved by Trustee J.M.Blodgett.seconded by Trustee
L.Villinger.that Ordinance No.57 be adopted as read.which notion
was carried by the affirmative votes of Trustees J:M.Blodgett,
G.E.Lawrence,C.A.Rich and L.Villinger. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee
F.O.Hale.
Labor claims amounting to i157.25.ceirg approved by the
auditting commtttee,were allowed and ordered raid.
