Public Hall.Lodi.California.Sey.11,1911.
In adjourned regular session of the Board of Trustees of
the City of Lodi,the following trustees being present: J.M.Blodgett,
F.O.Hale,G.E.Lawrence,C.A.Rich and L.Villinger. ?resident Lawrence
presiding.
The minutes of the meeting of Sep.5,1911,were read and
approved.
C.M.Bowli_ng was granted permission to erect a barn at 341
E.Lodi Avenue.
The following claims against the City,having been approved
by the Auditting Committee.were allowed and ordered paid:
Hepper Bros,3lacksriithing, 44.05
Lodi Hardware Co..Supplies,- 10.60
John H.Davies.Sayp1ies. 118.47
Total, $133.32
The applications for water of W.C.Corbin and Tomason Cement
Pipe Co.,Were referred to the Superintendent.
CRDINANC3 NO.57.
Ordinance No.57,an ordinance levying taxes in the year 1911,
was read,and,on motion,introduced and laid on the table for not less
than five days exclusive of the day of introduction.
It was moved by TY'ustee :-iale.seconded by Trustee Blodgett,
that T.H.Myers be appointed a r.ightwatchman at a salary of $75.00
per month.which :notion was unanimously carried.
The matter of allowing West & Sons Winery to discharge con-
siderable quantities of water into the sewer was discussed in con-
junction with the failure of the pumps to handle the water at the
Septic tanx. Whole matter referred to sewer committee.
Supt.Henning reported the amount of pipe required to reach
the cement pipe works. The Board did not favor the expenditure.
The matter of employing an attorney to prosecute cases of
violation of City ordinances was taken up.and Trustee Hale author
ized to instruct Marshal Coleman to take the matter up with Judge
Steele.
