In regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi.the following trustees being present:-I.M.Blodgett,F.o.Hale, G.E.Lawrence.C.A.Rich and L.Vi111nger. President Lawrence presiding. The minutes Of the meeting of August 14th..1911.were read and approved. The following applications fcr Building permits were read and granted: C.J.Weber,Store Room at 402 ?!.Pine B.Rinfret.Store Rom at 401 W.?ine St.; C . S. Randolph.: oodshed on lot 2 block 2 Hutchins Adm.. ; F.A.Meehl,Dwelling on lots 5&6 block C A&P Add. A communication from M.McCann of Stocktor.,President of the Pacific Coast Association of Fire Cheifs.was read and filed. On motion.Inspector Hepper was granted one week's leave of absence beginnings Aug.23rd. The following claims were allowed and ordered ?:aid: G.G.Hepper,Salary to date, F.Shealor,labor,- G.C.Reid,labor. D.A.Bales,labor, M.Gonyou,labor. B.R.McFadden,labor, Ben Hadcock.labor, Total. 860.00 27.50 11.25 11.25 6.25 10.00 5.00 4131.25 On motion.the Inspector of Sewers was instructed to lay a 6" extension from the: Stockton Street sewer North to alley in the Lawrence Tract.thence west along said alley to the S.P.right of way. It was moved by Trustee Rich and seconded by Trustee Hale that the Clerk be instr..cted to write H.H.Henderson directing him to not purchase any further materials for the City without proper authorization from the Board of Trustees. The motion was lost by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees Hale and Rich. Noes: Trustees Blodgett,Lawrence and Villinger. It was _.moved by Trustee Blodgett.seconded by Trustee Villinger, that the Clerk write H.H.Henderson requesting him to appear before the Board not later thanWednesday evening of this week. The motion was carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees 31odgett.Lawrence and Villinger. Noes: Trustees Hale and Rich. On motion.the Board adjourned 71ntil Aug.28,1911. Attest: City Clerk.
