In regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City
of Lodi,the following trustees being pr=sent: J.M.Blodgett,F.O.Hale,
G.E.Lawrence,C.A.R1ch and•L.Viliinger. President Lawrence p^es iding.
The minutes of the adjourned meeting of 10 o'clock July
3rd.,1911.were read and approved.
The report of the City Marshal and of the City Poundmaster
for the month of June were read and approved.
The following applications for building permits were read
and granted:
Waukeen Assoeiation,extension to fruit shed;
C.R.Keagle,;arage on lot 5 block 1 Hutch.Add.;
E.F.Nickel,addition to brick bldg.lot 7 blk 14.

A communication from the Lodi Merchants' Association in
regard to signal bells being placed at the S.P.crossings in the city
was read and referred to the City Attorney with instructions to pre—
pare the necessary ordinance.
A conn nication from the same association in regard to the
lack of fire escapes in the public halls was read and referred to
the committee of the whole.
Mr.W.C.Brown of the i"aukeen Association stated that tey
would excavate dirt frorl a space about 20' x 40' and 31' deep under
their shed,and offeree the dirt to the city. The matter was referred
to the street committee.
On motion.the Board adjourned until July 1C at the usual
hour and place.
