In regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi,the following Trustees being G.E.Lawrence and C.A.Ri.ch. President Trustee L.Villinger. The Minutes of the meeting of January 23,1911,were read and approved. The Reports of the Marshal and the Poundmaster for the month of January,and of Engineer Henderson on the Water system were read and filed. The following Applications for Building Permits were read and granted: Fred Bender,addition to dwelling at 330 E.Walnut; J.B.Waugh, addition to dwg.at 223 E.Locust St.; Mrs.Laura E.Pope,addition to dwg.at 216 N.Main St.; W.M.Mason,addition to dwg.at Cor.Sehool & Loekeford Sts..;. Mrs.McCollum,addition to dwg.at 215 W.Walnut; C.E.Perryrtan,remodeling dwg.at 7 W.Lockeford St.;. W.S.Robbins,chicken house at 106 E.Walnut St.; Bertha Nicholson,dwelling,lots 13 & 14 block 2 Barnhart Tr. S.H.Zimmerman,repreaenting the Business Men's Association, stated that the business men wanted to have 17 eleotroliers placed in the business part of town,and asked that no action be taken 1n. the placing of street lights in that part of town till the committee could take the matter up. A petition signed by fourteen property owners on Sacramento Street,asking that a pavement costing not to exceed 15$ per foot be placed on the block. between Locust and Lockeford Ste. and the blox between Lodi Ave. and Oak St.,war read and filed. F.A.Dougherty,on behalf of D.H.Buell,delivered a deed to a certain lot on East Elm Street,the price being $200.40. Upon motion, a warrant was ordered drawn in favor of F.A.Dougherty for two hundred dollars to pay for to lot. Upon rnotion,a warrant was ordered drwan in accordance with the engineer's recommendatiob.in favor of Williams & Belser on a/c of their contract.
