In adjourned regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi,the following Trustees being present: J.M.Biodgett, P.O.Hale,C.A.Rich and L.Villinger. Absent: G.E.Lawrence. Trustee Hale presiding. The minutes of the previous meeting,not having been written up were not read. A.J.Larson was granted a permit to construct a frame building on lot 4 block 21. F.J.Lease offered the City the dirt from his basement for $.30 per yard and cost of excavating. No action. Engineer Fink reported that the M.E.Church people could get to the sewer and water pipes through Dr.Cloman's property in a distance of about 130 feet,rnaking an average of about 45 feet for each of the three parties. As :,any parties have to go muoh farther,it was 124 the sense of the Board that proposition of Dr.Colman should be accept- ed,and that the Greenwell and M.E.Churca propert*es be connected thro Dr.Colnan's property,and that they would not be allowed to lay pipe in the street. Engineer Fink reported that the White matter was settled. A Warrant was ordered drawn in favor of F.F.Irey for $23.37 for drayage and one for $14.30 in favor of William Lupton for black- smithing. The matter of wages for street work Was taken up and it appeared to be the sense of the Board that the following be 'the wages: $2.00 per day for man; $2.00 per day for teat; x`1.50 per day for each additional span of horses. Upon motion the Board adjourned till' Jan.9th.,1911,at tha usual hour arid place. Attest: j/ City Clerk.
