Public Hall,Lodi,California.Jan.3,1911.
In regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City
of Lodi,the following members of the Board being presdnt: J.M.Blodgett,
F.O.Hale,C.A.Rich and L.Villinger. Absent: G.E.Lawrence. Trustee
C.A.Rich acting as president pro tem.
The Minutes of the Previous meeting were read and amended
by adding the words "of *628.65" in expanation of warrant ordered
drawn for the payment of deposits on light meters. The minutes were
then approved as amended.
MrS.W.McCleary,on behalf of the M.E.Church,stated that they
did not know how to reach the water pipes for getting a supply of
water at the Church and parsonage. They asked permission to have the
pipe laid along School Street. The matter was referred to Engineer
Fink with instructions to report Wednesday evening. The matter of
the difficulty of ::laking sewer connections from the White property
was also referred to Mr.Fink.
The Reports of the City Marshal,the City Poundmaster.and
the Plumbing Inspector for the month of December,and the Report of
Engineer Fink on the water and light and sewer construction were read.
The following appliactions for Building lermits were read
and granted:
H.M.Mason,Auto Garage on lot 3 of block 17;
Beckman,Welch & Thompson Co.,Reinforeed Concrete Building on
lot 6 of block 16;
Mra.L.Weaver,Addition to dwelling on lot 1 of bl.ck 8.
A bid on wire from the Home Electrical Co. was read and filed.
An additional petition for street work signed by the Trustees
of Lodi Lodge #259,I.0.0.F.,was read and ordered filed.
In accordance with the recommendation of Engineer Fink,the
following warrants were ordered drawn:
American Cast Iron Pipe Co..on acct.of contract, ---$714.61
Williams & Belser, " " " " ---1201.43

The claims of the Lodi Sentinel,Wm.Lupton,FF Irey,
Crane Co. and M.W. L.Plant for Water and lights for quarter
were laid on the table.
The claim•of the Municipal Water Plant showed that the
amount of 21,440,000 gallons of water had been used influshing
sewers and the natter was discussed at some length. The matter
of the proper Charge for the water was left with the Supt.and.Clerk.
Upon motion,the Board adjourned till Jan.4,1911,at the:usual
hour and place.
