In adjourned regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi ,the following trustees being present: J.;-:.Blodgett, .0.=!ale,u.l.Lawer.ce,C.3.Ricr. and L.Villinger. ?resident Lawrence presiding. The Y.inutes Of the Previous Meeting were read and approved. The following applications for Building Permits were read and granted. J.W.Carlisle.2 Dwellings on Lots G&7,311 7,3arnhart,Tract. J.R.Wherity,adaition to Harness Shop „Lots 11 & 12,31:.28. J.7.Dougherty stated that the Dougherty,Whitaker & Ray Co. would like t'^.' 3oard to make them.a flat rate on water and lights u::ti11 they had the new hotel built. He said that they were willing to apy he old rate. _ .L. darohand asked that the old rate for later for his shop of 53.75 be charged instead of the new rate Of On takill3 the i.latter up later in the session,the 3oard decided not to mate any variation from the ordinance. ORDINANCE NC.49. Ordinance No.49,erititled,"An Ordinance Levying Taxes in the Year 1910 in Pr•ovisioll of Revenue for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1,19111",having bene introduced on Sep.6,1910,was read and palced on passage. Upon motion regularly I1ade.seconded and carried the ordinance was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: President Lawrence.and Trustees B1odgett,Hale,Rich and Villinger. Noes: None. ORDINANCE NO.50. Ordinance No.50,entitled,"An Ordinance Fixing and Regulat— in;, the Use of Sewers by Private Individuals in the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin,State of California", having been introduced on Sep.0,1910,was read aril placed on passag:. Upon notion regularly riade,seconled and carried the ordinance was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: President Lavr ence,and Trustees 3lodgett,Hale,Rich and Villing— er. Noes: Nage. 94 The matter of i.mprovins certain streets in the business part of the City was taken u: and the Clerk was instructed to write to the City Clerk of Modesto for certain information as to the best lurid of a street,the cost of the'samie,and for the specifications of t:^.,,, same for which the 3oaid would be wi11ins to pay. The Clerk stated that he ,could need extra help in the of— fine for awhile,for whish he was willir_& to pay 425.00 ner month if the City would pay ";15.00 per month.
