In regular session of the Board of Trustees of the Cit,
of Lodi,the following trustees being present: J.M.Blodgett,G.E.
Lawrebee,C.A.Rich and L.Villinger, A sent Trustee ?.o.Eale.
President Lawrence presiding.
The Minutes Of the Previous Meeting wer read and approved.
The following Applications for Building Permits were read
and granted:
J.G.Thor.psor.,generat repairs to b1d .on Lots G&7,31k 30;
Henry Rasmussen.repairs to building on Lot 22 31k 1 3rht.Tr.
The foloowing communications were read and referrer', to the
Ergineer,H.H.Hendersor_: Des 'p oi! es Bridge ani Iron Go.,Fredk.C.
Roberts,Sta*ldard Engineering CO.
A communication from Stuseba_:er Bros.Co.in regard to a charge
for packing ordered by 0.3. Chaney was read and referred t o .the Clerk.
A communication from Engineer !{. E. Henderson,recommending that
the Board re/ect the bid of Crane Co. was read,and Pres.Lawrence
stated that as the bid was already accepted it was too late to con-
sider the communication.
A letter ':ro;, the U.S.Pipe Co.,advising the Board of an error
in their bid for hydrants of P.0.00 was read and filed with their
bid.
A claim from Appleton and Frederickson 3ros.for $1000.00,
having benn approved by the Engineer and Committee on Sewer Con-
struction for the sum of $500.00,was approved by the Board.
Mr,F.J.Lease stated to the Board that the Lodi Laundry
had been using the oil tank on the City property for oil,and would
like to.have permission to use the same until they could make other
arrangements. Eng.Henderson said that it would be allright for them
to use it for not to exceed five weeks longer. This appeared to be
agreeable to the Beard.
The ::latter of the American River Electric Co. placing
poles or, the streets was left with E:nderson and Hennirg,azd Of
any legal question should arise they would take that up with Judge
Jones.
The plans and specifications for the laying of pipe & c.
were then taken up,and upon motion of Trustee Rich,seeondeci. by
Trustees Blodgett and Vil_inger,tne plans and specifications were
accepted and approved.

Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids for the layins of pipe &c.

In the matte' of bids for hydrants,i t was moved' by Trustee
Blodsett and seconded by Trustee Vit l;_ner that the bid of the
states Pipe Co.of a1805.CC,%.ein;; the lowest and best bid,be
accepted. The motion was carried by the a=firnative votes of Trustees
31od,ett,!2ich and idiner.
The matter of preparir. the contrax with Crane CCo.and' ,ri th
the U.S.Pipc Co. was referred to the City Cler:: to be taken up with
Jude Jones.
The Bond of Jules Perrin and Henry Perrin in the Sill': of
W162.22 with C.L'.Russill and 7T.0.Corbin as sureties,and the bond of
the same principals ir.,the sum_ of $405.55,with J.Rea Bryant and J.G.
Hieb as sureties,were read and approved.
It was regularly moved,seoonded and carried that the Clem:
be authorized to expend not to exceed c5,6C.00 for extra help in the
matter of openin, up the water and light book.
It was roved, seconded and carried that this Board do now
adjourn till July 22,1913,at the usual hour and place. So ordered.
