In adjourned regular session of the Hoard of Trustees of
the City of Lodi,the following members of the Board being present:
Trustees F.C. ale,G.E.Lawrence,C.A.R1ch and L.Viliinger.
Absent: Trustee J.M.Blodgett.
President G.E.La,vrence presiding.
Tae Minutes of the Previous meeting were read and a»proved.
A communication from Pacific Coast Association of Fire
Chiefs was read and referred to the Fire Chief.
The following Applications for Building Permits were read
and granted:
Robt.Adans,to rove a Building at 120 ;J.Locust'St.;
H.F.Green,i.ddition to bldg.nn Lot 9 Bloch 1 Burrs Addition;
Fred Bender,Dwelling Lot 8 Block 5 E.Lodi;
E.F.Nickel,Addition to bldg.at 17 ;/,Elm St.;
i?.A.Uorehead,Dwelling Lot 24 Bloch 2 ;7.Lodi.
):r.Hayward of the General EleCtriC Company made a proposit-
ion to the Board for a Transformer Contract.
It was moved by Trustee Hale and seconded. by Trustee Rich that
the City accept the proposition of the General Electric Co.on
transfor.uers,and that the President of the Board be authorized to
enter into a contract with said company for transformers on behalf
of the City. The motion was carried by the affirmative votes 0'
President Lawrence and Trustees Hale,Rich and Villinger.
The matter of awarding the contract for the tank found-
ation was laid on the table till July 5th. ,1910.
In the matter of running the municipal water plant,G.S.
Warren was called in and after a thorough duscussion it was decided
to have Mr.';Varren run the plant the same as he had been doing for
Cary Bros.at a salary of P135.00 nonth for the present.
The application of G.:.I.Voorheis for a position with the
municipal light plant was read and filed.
