Public Hali,Lodi,California.May 23,1910.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in
adjourned regular session,pursuant to adjournment of May 1Gth.,1910,
President G.E.Lawrence presiding and the following other rte.-ters of
the Board being present: J.1.Blodgett,F.O.Hale,C.A.Bich and L.
Viliinger.
The Minutes of the Previous fleeting were read and approved.
The following applications for Building Permits were read
and granted:
E.3appu'rn,Dweliing on Lot 19 Block 5 E.Lodi;
Thompson and Grout,Bwg.on Lot 23,31ock 1 ?.Lodi;
Wing Lung Co. ,Add.to bldg.on Lot 2- Block 28.
Claude Keagle asked that water•be supplied tc him on W.
Lodi Ave. G.S.Warren said it would be better to connect with the
rain on Lodi Ave. :ir.Keagle said he would take such pipe as he could
use in the lot from the City when the system was changed,so it was
decided to have the connection made;using 4" pipe from the present
main on Lodi Ave.
F.L.Marchand and others asked that an alley be opened thro
block 50. C.L.Buell,who controlls the land through trhieh the propos—
ed alley would pass,said he would give the land for $150.00. It was
the opinion of tae -Board that the parties to be benefited thereby
should make the necessary terns with h'r.Buell.
The claim of Appleton and Frederickson Bros.was approved
by the Committee of Sewer Construction and Engineer Fink for the. sum
of $5134.87.
The clatter of the purchase of an adding machine was pres—
ented by the representative of the Burroughs Adding Machine Co.;and
laid on the table -for the present.
It was moved and seconded that this Board do now adjourn
till Tu sday evening,:'ay 31st.at the usual hour and place:Carried
and so ordered.
