Public Hall,Lodi,California.April 4,1910.
The 3oard of Trustees of the City of Locli convened in
regular session,President G.E.Lawrence presiding, and the following
other members of the Board being present: J.M.Blodgett,F.O.Hale
C.AJich and L.Villinger.
The Minutes of the Previous Meeting were read and approved.
The Reports of the City Marshal and the City Poundmaster
were read and approved.
The following Applications for Building Permits were read
and granted:
E.F.Jan Vlear,Dwelling on Lot 1 Block 9,^.Lodi;
A.A.Lfayes,Chicken Houses in Ayers & Pitcher's Add.;
H.f.3oden,Dwelling or. Lot 15 of Block 5,E.Lodi;
J.M.Appleto:,Barn on..Lots 12 & 13 Hutchins Addition;
S.J.3011inger,Addition to Dwelling on Lot 4 Block/l;
The Application of Max Elwert for permission to improve the
rear of 15 N.Sacramento-Street was amended to provide for corrugated
iron covering for the addition,wiiereupon the Permit was granted.
The Application of M.P.Dorton for City water on Lot 20
of 31ock 8 E.Lodi was read and laid on the table pending the deternin—
ation of what improvements will be code in the water plant.
J.;t.Ap_,leton asked if the 3oard would be willing to let
people have dirt from the Septic Tana Site. It seemed to be the
opinion of the Board that if the dirt was hauled into the City for
improvements therein there would be no objection to letting there
have it.
The following Claims against the City were read allowed
and ordered paid:

read and laid on the table for the Street Superintendent's O.K.
The Application of S.b_.Harler for the position of Nightwatohnan
was read and laid on the table.
The matter of Street Sprinkling was referred t.) the St.Committee
Ordinance No.44,entitled,"An Ordinance Fixing the Salaries and
Compensation of the City Clerk.Treasurer,Marshal,Recorder,Health Of-
ficer and Superintend:xit of Streets,and Repealin: Ordinance No.Five,
Ordinances of the City of Lodi",'having been introduced and laid on
the table on March 28th.,was read.
It was regularly moved and seconded that the foregoing
Ordinanee be adopted as read,which motion was carried by the follow-
ing vote:
Ayes: J.M.Blodgett,F.O.Hale,s0.E.Lawrence,C.A.Rich and L.Uillinger.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
It was moved,seconded and carried that this 3oard do now adjourn
until Thursday evening,A1;ri1 7,1310. So ordered.
