Public Hall,Lodi,California.Mar.28,1910.
The 3oard of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in
adjourned regular session pursuant to adjournment of Mar.25.1910,
' President &.E.Lawrence presiding and the following other members
of the Board being present: J.M.3lodgett,F.C.Hate,C.A.Rich and
L . Villinger.
The Minutes of the Previous Meeting were read and approved.
J.R.Wherity was granted a permit to erect an auto gargge
on Lot 18 Block 16.
C.C.Houston was granted a permit to place a distillate
tank on the R.R.right of way between the ice house and Cherokee Lane.
F.J.Reaty asked permission to construct a cement sidewalk
in front of his property on Lots 8 & 9 of Block 1 Barnhart Tract,
beginning said walk 18" from the property line. Upon motion,the per-
mit was granted.
The applications of John Bauer,T.H.Murray,G.V .Lel'oin,and
F.J.Beaty for the position of Inspector were read and ftimd referred
to the Committee of the 'hole.
J.M.Appleton called the attention of the Board to the fact
that their time was slipping by and the Engineer was not on the
ground so that they could begin work. He also said that he could
not place the orders stf for man -holes as Mr.Herrerson had not
given him the corrected drawings.
ORDINANCE NO.44.
Ordinance No.44,entitled,"An Ordinance Fixing the Salaries
and Compensation of the City Clerk,:reasurer,Marshal,Recorder,Health
Officer and Superintendent of Streets,and Repealing Ordinance No.
Five,Ordinances of the City of Lodi"was read and introduced for pass-
age.
It was moved ily Trustee Blodgett and seconded by Trustee Ytttxx
Vil_inger that the ordinance be laid on the table for not less than
five days exclusive of the day of introctuction,which notion was
carried and it was so ordered.
It was moved and seconded that the matter of rubbish cans
be left in the hands of the Street Comnittee.Carried.
It was moved and seconded that this Board do now adjourn
till Tuesday,Mar.29,1910.at the usual hour and place.Carried.
