Public Hall,Lodi,California.Peb.9.1910.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in
adjourned regular session pursuant to adjournment of Feb.7th.,
President G.E.Lawrence presiding and the following other members of
the Board being present: J.M.Blodgett,F.O.ale,C.A.Rich and L.
iliinger.
The Minutes of the Previous Meeting were read and approved.
The following Applications for Building Permits were read a
and granted:
Elmira Johnson,3arn on Lot 1 of Block 6 E.Lodi Add.;
John Mettlr Jr.,Auto Shed at 217 W.Oak Street.
J.J.Hubbard was granted permission to cut down some Elm trees
from in front of his property at the corner of Pine and Cherokee
Streets.
The matter of the purchase of the Cary ?Fater and Light
Plant was discused. Owing to the fact that the transfers were not
in proper shape the matter was deferred till February 10th.
In the natter of the Sewer Plans and Specifications:
President Lawrence informed the Board that Engineer Henderson had
come to Lodi on the 11:30 train this morning and upon his arrival
here he had received a telegran informing him of the death of his
father. He took the next train for Oregon,wiring Mr.Lawrence that
the plans and specifications were all in readiness and would be
presented next Monday evening.
Dr.S.W.Hopkins,President of the Board of Health,stated
that the Board of Health had received a letter from Dr.Snow.the
Sceretary of the.State Board.complimenting the Lodi Board of Health
on their prompt and efficient action in controlling the recent
threatened epidemic of small—pox.
It was rioved,seconded and carried that this Board do now
adjourn to reconvene on 2hursday evening,Feb.10.1910. So ordered.
