In regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City.
of Lodi,the following trustees being present: C.A.B1;,:cK,J.M.B1 dgett.
and G.E.Lawrence. Absent: F.O'Hale and C.A.Rich. President Lawrence
presiding.
The minutes of the meeting of Nov.10,1913,were read and
approved.
Letter form Bowers Rubber works read and filed.
The request of D.W.Bird for permission to cut down an
elm tree in front of his residence on West Elm Street was read and
granted.
A deed and an easement from Emily and W.P.LancaBter to the
city were read and accepted and ordered recorded.
The following applications for building permits were read
and granted:
C.S.Rand:lph,addition to dwelling at 416 S.School St.;
Geo.N.Seibert,chicken house Lodi and Pleasant Avenues;
C.L.VanBuskirk.garage on lot 2 Block 3 Burr's Add.
The application of Elliott E.Meyers for a gasoline permit
at 31 S.Sacramento St. and the application of Buck and Lease for a
gasoline permit at 19N.Saeramento St..were continued until next
meeting.
The Annual Report of the City Clerk.having been presented
on Nov.3rd.,was,on motion of Black,secorded by Blodgett,accepted
and ordered filed.
Chairman Blodgett of Public Utilities Committee submitted
a joint report of City Engineer Barzellotti andPublic Utilities
Superintendent Henni:g on the matter of sewering Lancaster Addition
and the western part of the Barnhart Tract.and recommended that the
work be done in accordance with the report.
on motion of Black,the report of Public Utilities Committee
was adopted a:.d the work ordered; the purchase of the necessary
:materials to be done by P.;i.Committee.
President Lawrence reported that Riggs wo ld Keep a mar
on hand for the running of the fire engine when McClure was at
meals for $10. per month. Trustee Black suggested that the shifts
be arranged at the water works so that each man would be on duty
eight hours. The matter was referred to Public Utilities Committee,
to *rake such arrangements as they saw fit.
