In adjourned regular session of the Board o£ Trustees of
the City of'Lodi,the following trustees being present: C.A.Biact,
J.M.Blodgett,F.O.?Tale and C.A.Rich. Absent: Trustee G.E.La'srence.
Trustee J.M.Blodgett was chosen ?resident Pro Ter.
The minutes of the meeting of July 21,1913,:'rere read and
approved.
A letter from Trustee G.E.Lawrer.•ce from Was"rington.D.C.,
was read and ordered filed.
The following applications for building permits were read
and granted:
S.McGlothler.Iaovin g b1d.fron blocs: 14 to lot 72;3arnhart Tract;
S.McGlothlen,dwelling or. block 14; " "
Ira N.Crose,barn on lot 11 bloc:. 47;
A.M.Tower,:aovinC bld:.ori lot 26 Larson's Pine St.Add
The claim of J.M.Mc fahon of 0.4.85 for In ney s paid out
was allowed and ordered paid.
The Committee of the Whole made no report on the applicat—
ion o: the City Marshal and Street Superintendent for an increase
of salary.
Mr.H.C.Keyes,of Sacramento Natural Gas Co..stated that he
was a'.:thorized by his associates to sat' that their plant in Lodi was
for sale,and that the price would not be a stand—up. That his company
would sell at hat it would take to replace the )plant.
Trustee Rich s:.:ggeeted that the Company Itake their offer
in writing.
Mr.Keyes said they would leave the vaiueation to any con—
peten: engineer.
O:; the Tater of aninexatioe.the street committee reported
that probably two streets in the proposed trace
were not ye: open.
_:pt.Nenning reported that he had sdld the old toiler and
fittings for $250.00.
The Board adjourned.
