President Lawrence presiding. The minutes of the meeting of Lar.10.i913.Were read and approved. The following bids for material were opened and read: For Manhole Rings and Covers. ACCEPTANCE OF PROPOSALS. On motion of Trustee Rich.it was ordered that the bid of H.C.Muddox (Capital Sewer Pipe Works) for the furnishing of Salt— glazed Vitrified Sewer Pipe and Y's ce accepted.a..d all other bids on Sewer Pipe rejected and the certified chex returned to such bidders. the above motion receiving the affirmative votes of Trustees Blodgett. Lawrence and Rich. Trustees 31a.k and Hale being absent. On motion of Trustee Rich.it was ordered that the bid of Tater Works Supply -Co. fcr the furnishing of Manhole Rings and Covers $8.75 ea,h Le accepted.anc all ether bids for this schedule rejected and the certified chex returned to suc:, bidders,Trustees Blodgett. Lawrence and Rich voting, in the af_irmat_ve.and Trustees Black and Hale absent. On motion of Blodgett.it was ordered that the bid cf Valley Lumber Co. for furnishing 125 brls._f cement be accepted and all other bids for cement be rejected and the certified chex returned to such bidders.Trustees Blodgett.Lawrence and Rich voting in the affirmative. and. Trustees Black and Hale being absent. . : . On motion of Rich:it:r'as ordered that the_bid of -Lodi .Hard— ware Co.for the furnishing of Galvanized Wrought Iron Pipe be accepted, and all other bids on W.I.Pipe rejected and the certified .chex return— ed to such bidders,Trustees Blodgett,Lawrence and Rich voting i:: the affirmative and Tr-stees =lack and Hale being absent. On motion of Blcdgett.it was ordered that the bid of American Cast Iron Pipe Co.for the furinishing cf cast iron pipe and specials to accepted..and all ether bids or. this schedule be rejected and the certified chex returned to such bidders.Trustees Blodgett.Lawren�e and. Rich voting in the affirmative and Trustees =lack and Hale being absent. =G RD 315 .The following applications for building permits were read and granted: J.C.Guggolz,dwel_ing c_: lot 15.:;leck 8.3arrhart Tract; Haslam & Hanson.ftwelling on lct 14 block 6.3arnhart Tract; Jacob Lucas.re:odelling of building on lots 9&10, Superintendent Hennin7 recommended that a one-half interest in eleven poles on North School Street be sold to Pacific Tel.& Tel. Co.g $3.50 each. The recommendation was adopted. The following two r solutions were read and adopted by the affirmative votes of Trustees 31odgett.Lav7rence and Rich: FINDINGS AS TO POSTING ORDINANCE NO.68. RESOLVED: that this Board.having; taken legal testimony in the matter,is from said testimony fully satisfied.ard now finds and hereby declares that Ordinance No.68,er.titled,"An Ordinance Establish- ing a Board of :ealth and in General Definition of Its Powers and Duties",was duly printed and as so printed was,on the 10th.day of farch.1913.posted in at least three public places in the City of Lodi; and the Clerk is hereby directed to annex a copy of this resolution, duly attested,to the original said ordinance.together with any other paper attestive of said posting. FINDINGS AS TO POSTING.ORDINANCE N0.69. RESOLVED: that this Board.having taken legal testinony,is from said testimony fully satisfied and now finds and hereby declares that Ordinance No.69,entitled."An Ordinance Providing for the En- forcement•of the Rules and Regultions of the Board of Hetalth of the City of Lodi.by Making Certain Acts and Omissions Unlawful.and Pro- viding Pe:alties Therefor".was duly printed and as so printed was. on the 10th.day of March.1913.duly posted in at least three public places in the City of Lodi; and the Clerk is hereby directed to annex a copy of this resolution.duly attested,to the original said ordinance,to-gether with any other paper attestive of said posting.
