In adjourned regular session of the Board cf Trustees cf the City of LOdi,the following Trustees being present: J.M.31odgett, F.0.Hale,G.E.Lawrence and C.A.Rich. Absent: Trustee C.A.Black. President Lawrence presiding. The minutes of the meeting Lar.3.1913.;4rere read and ap- proved. The following applications for building permits were read and granted: A.Iilienthal.barn on lot 57 of Barnhart Tract; J.Lucas.dwelling for C.S.Lupton onlct 4 block 34; H.F.Merrill.house and barn on lot 3 block 2.Hutchir.s Add.; W.J.Tho: ayer.pergerla on lot 2 block 9. Geo.Lewis was granted a permit to operate a motor vehicle on the streets of the City of Lodi. The reports of the Plumbing Inspector for the mont:, of February was read and filed. The resignation of W.F.Keeney as a member of the Board of Health was read and ac'epted. A petition from several residents of the City asking that Daisy Avenue be opend from School St.to Church St.was read and refer- red to Street Committee. Supt.Henning recommended that the City handle cocking appliances at parctically cost was looked upon with favor,and,on motion of Trustee Rich.it was ordered that the Superintendent be allowed to invest not to exceed $100..00 in such appl_ances.to be sold at a margin that will cover cost and breakage to consumers of the minicipal plant only. A report from Supt.Henning on the questi_n of water supply was referred to Public Utilities Committee. Supt.Henning reported that G.H.Burrow had run a service wire from the Western States line to the residence at 301 E.Locust Street,and the Clerk was instructed tc ta:.e the rate_ p ,'did: ie 7c*rpary. It was ordered that the moving of dirt from the septic tank be under the supervision of Mr.Doepke. On motion of Blodgett,the President of the Board was authorised to sign a contract with Gorham Fire Apparatus Cc. dor a Seagrave Engine. A communcation. from Industrial Accident Board regarding pending legislation was read and laid on the table. On motion of Blodgett.seconded by Hale,the following were appointed as mercers of the Board of Health of the City: S.W.r_opkins, F.W.Colman,o.J.Henphill.G.W.Le!oir. and J.C.Bewley.
