In adjourned regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi,the following trustees being present: O.A.31ack, G.E.Lawrence and C.A.Rich. Absent: Trustees J.M.Blodgett and P.O.Hale, President Lawrence presiding. The minutes of the meet_ng of Dec.2,1912,were read and approved. A comm'lnication from Lodi Merchants' Association,inviting the Board and Clerk to attend their meeting on the 10th.irst.was read and accepted and the Clerk instructed to tank the Association for the invitation. Communications from the Sentinel and Post regarding printing were read and laid or, the table. Communications regarding fire apparatus were read and filed, The following applications for building permits were read and granted: Wright & Tubbs,replacing wooden addition with iron at 16 N. School St.; G.W.Brower moving barn from Barnhart Tract to N.Sac.St.; G.B.Podesto tank house on lot 20 block 46; T.HLcCuen chicken house at 428 E.Pine St.; • The application of J.E.Reld for permission to erect a wooden shed at rear of First National Bank was denied. The application of Arthur 3.Tindell for a permit to oper— ate a motor vehicle in the City of L•odi,accom_panied by a statement of his father that he was 16 years and five months old.was read and granted. The matter of R.Adams having had his number changed and a figure of different color placed between the other two was taken up and the Clerk instructed to have Mr.Suess change the number,and place the same kind of numbers on. Engineer McAfee stated that his profiles were all ready for adoption—and exhibited the profiles of street grades. On motion of Rich.it was ordered that an ordinance be prepared establishing street grades. Trustee Rich stated that :::rs.J.B.Lillie had stated that she would sell a one—half block bounded on West by Cherokee St.,South by Oak St.,North by alley.and East by East Lodi Addition,for park purposes for the sum of $3500.00. The matter of apparatus for Engineer's office was referred to Building Committee. The Board ad,lourned. Attest: -cam City Clerk.
