Ini'egular session of the Board of Trustees of the City
of Lodi.the following trustees being _Present: C.A.31ack.J.i;.Blodgett,
F.O.tale.G.P.Lawrence and C.A.Ric . ?resident Lawrence presiding.
The minutes of the meeting cf Oct.7,i912.'rere read and
approved.
Kaiser & Stein vrere granted a permit to erect a woodshed
0n lot 6 block 21;
J.D.Crose was refused permission to erect a corrugated iron
addition: back of No.7 N.Sa ramento St.
On motion of Rich.secorded by Blodgett.the Clerk was instruct-
ed to order one copy of the Report of the Proceedings of the 15th.
session of the League of California Lunicipalities.bo nd in paper.
The reports of F.i4.Colma:, and J.i:+:i::cMahcn.as delegates to
ccnventior, of municipaiities.were read and accepted.
A letter from the League of California i:uricipallties.re-
q esting the Board to pass a resolution endorsing the "Home Rule in
Taxation" amends ent.was read. The arguments of Washington Dodge and
C.A.i.Murdock in favor of the amendment were read.
The folloring resolution was then read:

commends to the voters Constitutional Amendment (No.8 on Ballot )..ant-

On motion of Rich.sec:nded 1,y 3lodgett.the foregoing re-
solution .was adoptee by the affirmative votes of Trustees Black.
Biodgett,::ale,Lawrence and Rich.
Chairman Blodgett. of the Public Utilities Committee sug-
ested that the ratter of paintingthe telephone polesbe fain taker

up. The Clerk •vas instructed to write the telephone eomapry.
Chairman Blodgett stated that Loepke wished to meet it
the Board. Referred to Public Ltilities Committee.
The matter of the rate for the ?retooling Co. was referred
to Public Utilities Committee for a report at the next meetin,.
The matter of purchasing a segre_aticn ledger was referred
. e Finance Committee.
The Board adcurned.
