In adjourned regular session of the Board of Trustees of
the City of _cdi,the following trustees being present: C.A.Black.
J.l.'.Blodgett ,G.L'.Lawrence and C.A.Ric1 . Absent:F.O.Hale. President
Lawrence presiding.

approved.
A communication __om residertscf the Cit;' as}:ing that the
hearing of the application cf Central California Tra •tion. for a
franchise be postponed was read.an.d.cn motion of Rrch seconded by
Plodrett,the reouest was granted and the hearing set for not earlier
than August 5.1912.
Dr.S.YT.hcpr.lns was granted a permits to erect a garage and
conservatory or. lots 4&5 c. bloc}: 19.
The report of Street Superintendent Ccle-ar..notifyir.g the
Board that he had accepted School Street from Ga: to Elri Streets,
Was read,and,cn motion of Richsecon•ded by Blac};.t'e report was ac—
cepted.
F.J.Beaty suggested water for the Barnhart Tract. Referrer,
to Public Utilities Committee.

performance cf his contract te released and that the President of
the Board to authorized to endorse the certified crec}: accompanyin g
said bond tack the contractor.
On motion of 3ici:. seconded ty Blodgett . it was ordered that
the bond of C.I.Rice cf w2COO.0C tor guarantee the payment cf mater—
ial and labor be released upon satisfactory proof being sub—
mitted to the Building Committer cf the faithful performance of the
otligations of the bond.

remo ed.and Elach suggested that a sign be ;,laced at the corner of
