BACKGROUND INFORMATION: In accordance with the Management/Mid-Management Statement of Benefits the Police Mid -Management employees are eligible to receive salary increases equivalent to increases negotiated by the Police Officers Association. The Police Officers Association MOU specifies salary increases of 3.5%, effective October 7, 1996, 3.0%, effective October 6, 1997, and 3.0%, effective October 5, 1998. On September 18, 1996, Council approved the first year increase of 3.5%, effective October 7, 1996, for the Police Mid -Management employees. It is recommended that the Council authorize increases in the amount of 3.0%, effective October 6, 1997, and 3.0%, effective October 5, 1998. Dixon Flynn -- City anager RESOLUTION NO. 97-156 A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL APPROVING SALARY INCREASES FOR POLICE SUPERVISORY/ MID/SENIOR MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lodi hereby approves the following salary increases for Police Supervisory/Mid/Senior Management employees in accordance with the Management/Mid-Management Statement of Benefits: 3.0% effective October 6, 1997; and 3.0% effective October 5, 1998.
