In adjourned regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City oft Lodi the following trsstees being present: C.A.Black, J.M.Blodgett,F.O.Hale,G.E.Lawrence and C.A.Rich. . The minutes of the meeting of May 20,1912,were read and approved. C.I.Rice was granted permits to erect dwellings on.lot 14 of block 2,Hutchins Add.,and on lots 6&8 block 3 Burr's Add. The claims of F.Shealor for $47.50 and H.E.Ralls for $10.00 for labor,having been approved by the Finance Committee,were allowed and ordered paid. The Street Ooimittee reported having had the proposed extOssion of North School Street surveyed,and submitted plat and notes of survey by J.W.McAfee,with the recommendation that the map be accepted and the street accepted when the deeds were made. Engineer Tuetelty suggested that grades be established tk throughout the city. Mr.Ddgerton stated that a large oak tree near his palce was a nuisance in harboring swaliows.Referred to. Street Committee. ir.Lllis stated tha it was reported that a transformer near his place was unsafe. Referred to Publ:o Utilities Committee. Supt.Gregg reported that the ._tntcipal building was pro- gressing slowly,that he had condemned the rocf and that he 1 a x the Paraf_ine Paint Co.had agreed te put on a new roof. The Public Utilities Coreittee reported that it would cost $22.44 to paint the septic tanx with creosote paint and $22.20 with linseed oil and slate. Report accepted. On ;ncticn of Trustee Black.it was ordered that meter readings be placed on all bills,and that the superintendent be reel quired to complete the meter roadiggs at least three eays before tthe first day of each month.. The Natter of laying sidewalks on N.Sac.St.at corner of Daisy Ave. came up on the application of J.D.Christner,and the fact was developed that no grades had been established in that district. The Clerk was instructed to ask the S.P.Co.to lay sidewalks on N.Sac.in block 21. It was ordered that the Marshal serve notices that all lots must be cleared of weeds and rubbish by June 15th. Inspectror ?Tepper was instructed to make a list of all places that had failed to connect with the sewer and report at next meeting. The Board adjourned. Attest: City Clerk.
