Public Hall,Lodi,California.May 6,1912.
In regular eession of the Bard cf Trustees of the City
of Lodi,the following trustees being present: O.A.Black,J.M.Blodgett,
F.O.Hale and C.A.Rich. Absent: G.E.Lawrerkce.
Trustee Blodgett was chosen President Pro Tem.
The minutes of the tweeting of Apr.29,1912,were read and
approved.
The report of the City Marshal for the month cf April,and
the report of Superintendent Henning for the construction of water
mains were read and filed.
The following applications for building permits were read
and granted:
Beckman and Thompson,two story concrete building on lots
16 & 17 of block 16;
Church of God.eerment block buildings on block 32.
The new bond of Marshal Coleman,in the sum of $2000.00,with
the following sureties each in the sum of $1000.00:M.D.Dt`u`fy.Gottlieb
Loerirg,S.A.Shin_. and B.C.Churchrla::.was read and approved.
A plat of subdivision of Bloch 10 of Lodi Barnhart Tract
was presented by Mrs.M.C.Ganon.vho wished to dedicate the alleys
indicated thereon to the p•blic use.was on motion of Rich,seconded
by Hale.referred to Atty.Percival for the necessary legal preparation.
w.?.Lancaster asked for sewer and lights in the Burr Add.
on First Street bet.Church St.and Pleasant Ave. Referred to 'Public
Utilities Committee.
E.E.Leaver called the attention of the Board to the *'act
that street lights had been ordered placed on N.Secramento 3t.about
four months ago an were not yet installed. Informed that the material
had been ordered.
Supt.Gregg reported tha, the roof of the new buiidi:g was
now on and the second pa-yme::.of $1500.06.was now due the contractor.
The matter of opening School Street north from DeForce Ave.
was brought to the attention of the 3oar•i and referred to the Street
O r ittee.
On motion of Trustee F.ich,seconded 'oy Trustee Black,the
amount of $3500.00 was orderer, transferred from Water Fund to General
Fund and a similar amount from Light Fund to General Fund.
