In regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi,the following trustees being present: F.O.Hale,G.E.Lawrence, C.A.Rich and L.Villinger. Absent: Trustee J.M.Blodgett. President Lawrence presiding. The minutes of the meeting of Mar.25th.,1912,were read and approved. The reports of the 34arshal,the Poundn:as:er,and the Plumbing Inspector for the month of March were read and approved. An application, in writing from the City Street Improvement Company asking for an extension of sixty days from Apr.20th. in which to complete the street work,acco...panied by the'written consent of their surety,was read,and on motion the extension was granted. Engineer R.C.Tuielty stated that it was necessary for the city to have an established grade over the city,and suggested that sone a^tion: be :aken in that matter. A communication from The Pacific Tel.& Tel. Co. offering to purchase a half interest in the line of poles on De Force Ave. was read and referred to Supt.Henning. A.A.Brigamn submitted two policies of ins::rance of the City in regard to employees and took up the old policy of his company. The matter of arranging the poles along Sacarnento Street so as to eliminate one lire on the east side was discussed and the clerk instructed to write 1'-r.Butler; a] -_d the clerk and Supt.Henning asked to prepare a resolution to the Merchants' Association.
