In regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi
this date there were present Trustees Hale, Black, Keeney and Polendorf.
Trustee Deaver absent.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. -
The monthly reports of City Marshal and City Plumbing Inspector
were presented, read and prdered filed.
Building permits were granted to the following:
G. W. LeM oin, private garage at 23 South Hitchins street.
Dr. A. C. Boehmer, private garage at 523 West Elm street.
D. D. Smith, private garage at 402 West Elm street.
H. W. Walker, private garage at 225 Lancaster Court.
H. A. Mettler, private garage at 414 West Elm street.
H. A. Mettler, dwelling at 414 West Elm street.
Hight Officer M. A. Kiser asked for two weeks leave of absence
which was granted.
Upon lotion of Trustee Keeney, seconded by Trustee slack, it was
decided to close the municipal baths for some needed improvements, the
save to be reopened at the discretion of the Board.
The following resolution was introduced by Trustee Keeney:
WA—REAS, The City Attorney has made certain recommendations in
regard to interest on city :Honey heretofore deposited in bank by the -
City Treasurer; and, -
WHEREAS, this board has given the matter careful and thorough
consideration and deem that all matters considered and under tha cir—
cumstances the sum of *1050.00 is a fair and reasonable sum to be ac—
cepted by the City of Lodi in payment of interest on such deposits;
now therefore be it
RESOLVED, That said sum of $1050.00 be and it is hereby accepted
by this Board in full payment of all interest on said deposits.
Trustee Keeney moved, seconded by Trustee Black, the adoption of
the above resolution as read, which motion was carried by the Tollowing
vote: -
:ares: Trustees Hale, Black, Keeney and rolendorf.
Noes: None.
Absent: Trustee Deaver.
Trustee Fo lerdorf moved, seconded by Trustee Black, that the ser—
vices of City Scavenger Geo. D. Langley be discontinued January 1, 1913,
which motion was carried by the affirmative votes of all members present.
Miscellaneous bilis amounting to $4756.92 were allowed and ordered
paid. -
The Board adjourned.
