In regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Lodi there were ereSe._t Trustees rale, Black, Keeney, Deaver and Fol-
endorf.
I.inutes of the previous meeting were read and ap_rcved.
Mrs. n. Focacci :,as _ranted permit to move ant remodel a
barn from the front to the rear of a lot at '429 Test Lo.,..-_ .,rd Street.
The City narshai's and the City Pound aster's retort for the
month cf Mey were readand ordered filed.
G. A. Gerlack and 22 otter preperty owners on ..Test Oa_'. _treet
petitioned the =care: to pave that street to a width of 50 feet.
Trustee Keeney ;loved, seconded by Trustee Foiendcrf, that the
petition of est Oak street property owners be accepted and filed and
the necessary steps be taken to have the work done at the earliest pos-
sible time. The motion was adopted by unanimous vote.
Trustee Deaver moved, seconded by Trustee Folendcrf, that a
bill of 0.50 fcr water charged to the Outlaws baseball team be can-
celled and that the Bali park be furnished water without charge in
future providing the grounds be open at all times for use o` she boys
of Lodi, it being understood there is to be no wastage of water. The
motion was adopted.
Upon motion of Trustee Deaver, seconded by Trustee Keeney,
which motion was regularly carried, it was decided to purchase the
Elliott Addressing sachine row irL use in the City Clerk's office,
and a warrant was ordered draw.: in the sum of $136.60 to pay for
the machine, four metal trays and 1000 name plates.
Trustee Deaver Loved, Seconded by Trustee. Keeney, that
the following city employes, i.e. Superintendent of Public Utilities,
City Marshal and Superintendent of Streets, rightwatchaan, special
police., three employes at the water works, Superintendent of MuniCi-
pal Baths, Assistant City Cleri: and City Engineer be allowed an in-
crease in salary of .5.00 per month, effective from amd after June
1, 19:7. The motion was carried i:nani.moiisly. . •;.'
