Pursuant to adjournment of December 21st the Board of Trus-
tees of the City of Lodi convened at 8:00 o'clock p::m.
Tore were present Trustees Hale, Black, Keeney, Deaver and
Polendorf.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
No action was taken in the mutter of renewal of the Hotel Lodi
Company's 1igidr license as their bond was not in proper form.
A communication was read from Ernest M. Smith of - San Francisco
offering to bring swimmers here for opening of the baths. The Clerk
was instructed to reply that thematter would be taken up later.
A communication from the Business Men's Association regarding
lights in business places was referred to the Superintendent for his
attention.
A communication and receipt for dues from the Septic Process
Protective League was read and ordered filed.
Trustee Black reported that the contract for construction of
the building for the Lodi ?,'uricipal Baths had been complied with, the
building completed in a satisfactory :tanner and recommended full pay-
ment for the same..
Trustee Folendorf moved, seconded by Trustee Black, that the
contractor, Philbrick & Colvin, be paid in full for construction of
the swimming tank building. The motion carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees =olendorf, Black, Hale and Keeney. Nays: Trustee Dea-
ver. Absent: None.
Warrants were ordered drawn in favor of Philbrick & Colvin for
54014.00; F. T. Beaty, :20.00 and H.S.Clark,City Clerk, $31.00.
Upon motion the Board adjourned to reconvene at 8:00 o'clock p.m. Sat-
urday, December 30, 1916.
