In regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi there were present Trustees Deaver, Black, Keeney and Folendorf. Trustee dale absent. Trustee DAaver was elected temporary chairman. Minutes of the previous m-eting were read and approved. Building permits were granted as follows: G. Schunke, dwelling on East Pine street, Phillips land. C. L. Taggart, dwelling Lot 9, Brier Subdivision. 0. A. Schroeder, for Mrs. U. A. Hayden, dwelling on the west 50 feet of lots 12, 13 and 14, block 2, Cordier Tract.. 0. A. Schroeder, dwelling on lot 41, Schroeder Trait. The matter of properly numbering houses on School street, north of DeForce avenue was placed in the hands fo tho Clerk and City Enginaer for attention. The Clerk was instructed to notify the janitor of the time of .meetings of the Board and was authorized to employ C. R. Gray to wash the windows in the City Hall. Superintendent Henning reported that the Southern Pacific Company had given oral permission to cross their tracks at Lockeford street and Stockton street with a pipe line to the swimming tank. Miscellaneous claims against the City amol;nting to 8411.48 were allowed and ordered paid. The Board adjournad. Attest: 1 ri (- City Clerk.
