The Board of Trustees Of the City of Lodi Convened in e•gu-
lar.sesion at 8:00 p. m., there being present Trustees Hale, Black,
K..eney and Thlerdorf. Trustee Deaver absent.
:1irutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Building permits were granted as follow
Gottl?ib 0. Hieb, private garage at 112 South Church Street.
C.H.Buck, addition to dwelling at 40C Last Pine street.
In response to call for bids of September .2d for furnishing
all abor and materials necessary for construction of the building
for the :._ur.icipal Swimming Pool, in accordance with plans and speci-
fications prepared by F. G. Cary, the following proposals were re-

Trustee Keeney moved, seconded by Trustee Black, that the
bid of Philbrick & Colvin for the building with rubberoid roof (ex=
ceptirg slides), of 46848.00, be accepted and the contract awarded
in accordance therewith. Upon roll call the motion carried by the
following vote:
Ayes -Trustees Keeney, Black, =olendorf and Hale.
rays -None.
Absent -Trustee Deaver.
W. Si. Cutts reported she sewer 1n North Stockton

o: order. The matter was referred to Supt. Henning, Cutts to stand
the expense if the trouble proved to be in his private sewer con-
necting with the city's ..gins.
0.A.Schroeder asked the Board to fix a flat rate for water
at his a) house on West Elmet street. The matter was referred
to a cor:i.littee of the whole.
It was roved by Trustee Keeney, seconded by Trustee Black,
that the Marshal be allowed to en1oy an assistant to write the tax
receipts. Carried. • •
Uron notion of Trust- Keeney, seconded by Trustee Black,
the First _.ational Bank was des1 .ated as tyle place for collection
of taxes during the month of October.
George D. Langley offered to collect and dispose of all
z'arbge for the city for 450 per month. Action in the matter was de -
31115 amounting to t236.63 were allowed and ordered paid.
