The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in regu— lar session at 8:00 p.m. There were present Trustees rale, Black, Keeney, Deaver and Folendorf. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Trustee Keeney moved, seconded by Trustee Black, that the tax rate for 1916 be fixed at #1.00, apportioned as follows: For Bond Interest and Redemption Fund 37 ; Library Fund 13 ; General Fund 50c. The notion carried by the following vote: Ayes—Trustees Keeney, Black,Deaver, ale and Folendorf. Nays—None. . OR.DP:ANCE NO., 87, Entitled, "An Ordinance Levying Taxes in the Year 1916 in Provision of Revenue for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 1917,11 was introduced and read. Trustee Deaver moved, seconded by Trustee Keeney, the aaopt— ion of the -ordinance as read, which motion was carried by the follow— ing vote: Ayes—Trustees Deaver, Keeney, Black, Folendorf and Hale. Nays—None. This date -being a letal holiday and the Board havin con— .vened for tie sole purpose of f ixiril the tax rate in compliance with law no further business was taken up.
