Pursuant to adjournment of August 30th the Board of Trus-
tees of to City of Lodi convened at 10 a. m., there being present
Trustees Hale, Black, K?8ney, Deaver and Folendorf.
i:inutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The matter of the employment of a special attornay to as-
sist in tip:, completion of the proposed city charter was taken up
4nd discussed.with City Attorney Steele.
It was moved by Trustee Deaver, seconded by Trustee Keeney,
that It i3 the sense of this Board of Trustees that ample provision
has already been made for the legitimate expenses o: the Board of
Freeholders. The motion carried unanimously.
Upon motion the Board.adjourned to meet again at 5;00 p.n.
Friday September 1,.1916.
