The Board of Trustees or the City of Lodi convened pursuant to adjournment of May 15th at 8:00 p.m. There were present Trustees Sale, Black, Keeney and Deaver. Trustee :olerdorf absent. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Building permits were granted as follows: Chas. Frandsen, dwelling cor Lincoln and Eden streets, Barn- hart Tract. T. J. Utterback, private stable at 412 East Pine street. W. R. Haney, dwelling cor Tokay and Garfield streets,Barr.- hart Tract. W. A. Morehead, addition to dwelling at 312 West Elm street. Applications for park and swimming tank jobs were received from James Marlow, W. 3. Mallory and W, N. Moss. The Southern Pacific Company filed description and blue print showing ::here that company desires to build a track crossing Walnut, Oak, Fine and Elm streets, which it is their intention to Use as a team trac k to relieve the congestion in otner parts af the Lodi yard. Superintendent C. F. Ketcham of the Southern Pacific Company was present and stated the application would be filed with the Rail- road Corrasion. Objection was made to the building of this track by property owners on Main street, claiming it would be detrimental to their property. Ordinance No. 85, granting to W. T. Owens the right to built a spur track, having been introduced may 1st, was read. L. S.
