The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi conveyed in regular
session at 8:00 p.m., there being present Trustees Hale, Black, Keeney,
and Folendorf. Trustee Deaver absent.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Action on the application of A. S. Anderson to build a public
garage on the south * of lot 1, block 13, on North School Street,
was deferred on account of its proximity to the Mason Hospital.
A permit was granted to F.C.Maier to construct a private gar-
age on lot 8, block 11, Hutchins Addition, for L. B. Hires.
A communication from the Lodi Volunteer Fire Department thank-
ing the City Trustees for new equipment furnished was read and or-
dered filed.
The City Marshal's report for the month of October was read
and ordered filed.
The request of W. R. Parker to erect sign boards on the prop-
erty of S. H. Walters on East Lodi Avenue, and on the property of
Mrs. Emma Corbin, corner Lodi Avenue and Sacramento streets, was
denied, by motion made, sceonded and unanimously carried.
Upon motion of TrustAe Black, seconded by Trustee Keeney,
which motion was unanimously carried, the Clerk was instructed to
take the necessary steps to refund the amount of money subscribed
for the purpose of building a municipal 'swimming tank..
Miscellaneous claims amounting to 43145.59 were allowed and
ordered paid.
