The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in regu—
lar session at 8:00 p.m., there being present Trustees Hale, Black
and Keeney. Trustees Deaver -and Polendorf absent.
Minutes of the meetings of September 6th and 7th were read
and approved.
The following building permits were granted:
Edward Jackson, woodshed, 409 East Walnut Street.
L._.Masor., private garage on lot 11,block 11, Hutchins Add.
Fred C. Maier, for ors. Amelia Meyer, addition to dwelling
at 524 East Locust street. -
Fred C. Maier, for Jos. Deitz, atable on lot 29 Larson's
Addition.
Trustee Black moved, seconded by Trustee Keeney, that the
Diaphone fire alarm and whistle machine for operating -same be pur—
chased by the City under the proposition of the Gamewell Fire Alarm
Telegraph Compa:y, as noted in.t e minutes of April 19, 1915, (page
406). Tir? motion was carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees
Bale, Black, Keeney. Nays: None. Absent: Trustees Fole dorf and
Deaver.
The report of Plumbing inspector Henning for the month of
August was read and ordered filed.
TJDOn motion of Trustee Keeney, seconded by Trustee Black,
the City marshal was authorized to employ an as3istant to write
the tax receipts, and designated the First National Barr as the
place for collection of taxes.
Upon notion the Board adjourned until Thursday, September
25d at 8:00 p.m.
