The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in ad-
journed session at 8:00 p.m., there being present Trustees.P.a.le,
Black, Keeney, Deaver and Folendorf.
Minutes of the previous meeting were road and approved.
Building permits were granted as follows:
wm. r Powell, open air ice cream parlor at 17 west oak street.
George H. Moore, addition to d«elling at 207 west Oak street.
Z. D. Brier, dwelling on lot 14,. Olive Court,Brier subdivision.
Nelson Mathews, dwelling , lot 7, block 3, Barnhart Tract.
The resignation of City Recoraer Geo.P.Hamra was accepted to
becohna effective June 30, 1915.
0. J. Ramphill and H. F. Ellis applied for appointment as
City Recorder. Upon motion of Trustee Keeney, seconded by Trustee
Black, which motion was unanimously carried, H. F. Ellis was ap-
pointed City Recorder, effective May 1, 1915.
The Shell Company of California asked permission to withdraw
its application of April 17th to locate its supply depot on -north
Sacramento street, which permission res ranted.
,.__) E. H. Eenking, for the Shell Company of California, applied
for a per=t to locate its supply depot by the erection of suitable
building and tanks, laying of a spur track, etc., at a location on
railroad avenue, in block 48. It was moved by Trustee Deaver, sec-
ondea by Trustee Keeney, that permission be granted the Shell Com-
pany to locate as applied for, which motion was carried uranir..ously.
1. D. Brier requested the Board to grade and care for the
street in Olive Court in the Brier subdiviaion, which matter was
referred to the Street Committee.
0. W. Kinney's request that the City provide sewer and water
facilities in the block between DeForce Avenue and Lockeford street,
Chi;r6h and School streets, was disposed of by authorizinf', t"re Public
Jt1_i`.ies Committee to lay the necessary sewer and water pipes
throuF, lots 7, 8, 9 and 10, Block B, Ayers ana Pitchers Adaition,

0. W. v;. KinnPyls request that the City provide sewer and water
facilities in the block between DeForce Avenue and Lockeford street,
Church, and School streets, was disposed of by authorizing the Public
Utilities Cormittee to have laid the necessary sewer and water pipes
or. the south line of lot 6, block B, Ayers & Pitchers Addition, to
provide service for lots 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, block B, Ayers k- Pitch-
ers Ad,aIt_on, upon sPci;riro the n-cPssary easement from kiss Hattie
B. Bewip y, the owner of lot 6.
