Municipal Building, Lodi, Cal., Feb. 115, 1915.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in reg-
ular session at 8:00 p.m., all members present.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Building permits were granted as follows:
T.G.Anderson,poultry'house and pigeon house or. lot 3,block
38, City of Lodi.
D.Beronlo'to'remodel two houses on Daisy Ave.near Pleasant.
Jas.Culbertson, dwelling on lot 4,block 1, Cordier Tract.
Mrs. C. Frandsen, dwelling on lot 16,block 6, Lodi Barn-
hart Tract.
J.M.Paul,dwelling north side Daisy avenue, between Sacra-
mento and School streets.
The report of Plumbing' Inspector Henning for the month of
January was read and ordered filed.
Upon motion of Trustee Black, seconded by Trustee Folen-
dorf, the application of The Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Company
to purchase a one-half interest in 9 35 -foot poles was granted, the
price to be $5 each, and the President of the Board was authorized
to sign supplements Nos. 11 and 12 to the General Joint Pole Agreement
between the telephone company and the City of Lodi confirming such
sale.
Upon motion of Trustee Keeney, seconded by Trustee Foi-
endorf, Superintendent Henning was authorized to remove one pole
and one suspended light at the intersection of Pine and School
streets.
The matter of fixing values of property for assessment pur-
poses was discussed and it was decided to take the matter up for fur-
ther consideration at a committee meeting to be held Wednesday, Feb-
ruary 17th.
Principal Custer of the Lodi Grammar Schools stated that
the provisions of Ordinance No. 74 were not being enforced and re-
quested the Board to have a curfew bell rung each evening at the time
provided for in the ordinance as a notice that boys and girls under
16 years of age, unaccompanied by parents or guardian, must not be
on the streets.
Trustee Deaver moved, seconded by Trustee Black, that
owing to the fact that February 22d, the time set for opening bids
for sewer and water pipe, is a holiday, the time for opening such bids
be postponed to February 23d, and that Such change be advertised in
connection with the "Notice to Bidders" running in the Lodi Post.
The motion was carried.
Upon motion the Board adjourned until Tuesday evening,
February 23d, at 8:00 p nm.
