up. Upon motion of Keeney, seconded by Black, the license was grant-
ed by the.following vote: Ayes -Keeney, Black, Deaver, rolendorf,Bale.
Nees -None.

Upon motion of Folpn;iorr, seconded by Black, a wholesale liquor
license was ['ranted to Lodi Soda -Works & Ice Depot, by the -affirma-
tive votes of Folen dorf,• ria ck, Keeney, Deaver •app; talo.
Upon :notion of•Deaver, seconded by Keeney, a wholesale liquor
license was granted to Wilkinson & Wilkinson by the affirmative Votes
of Deaver, Keeney, Black Fole Tori and Hale.

Upon motion of Black, seconded by Foleilliorf, a wholesale liquor
license was grated to Jacob G. Hieb upon the affirmative votes of
Black, Folendorf, Hale, Keeney, Deaver.
The •application. of Paul D. Sr owalter for a license to conduct
a saloon at 103 East •Pine street was read and filed.
Building permits ,ranted:.
A.V. Kavanaugh, to remodel bur leing at 27 North Sacramento St.
W. D. Voorhifes & Son, to repair and built addition to Salem
school building.
The bond_ pf• `,;. H. Lorenz, as Cit;; . Treasurer, was accepted as
corrected.. c
The plerk was directed to communicate ;.ith the Gareewell sire

them to the Ciyy of Lodl was not giving satisfaction; and to also s
state that.while-we•are reeiving inquiries•troa other cities in re-
gard to the apparatus we cannot consistently recommend their system.

the Board Hale was authorized to renew the annual Multiple Transfor-
mer contract with the General Electric Company which expires July
1, 19
