Street was introduced -and read;

ed a permit to the'City.Street Improvement `Co:spany.to pave'East Pine
street in the -City or Lodi, be `it'hereby. - - _

wAn Ordinance Amending Section 2 of 0rainance7io: 36,w -the curb line
:on Fast -Pine street, from Sacramento street tc Cherokee Lane, is herf-
bv-fixed and shall -be-distant .from the -dlvtsion'line between the'
street -and blocks,'squares or-lots:abutting on said 3asVPine street

•Upon roll -call the above resolution was adopted by the foIlc-e-
ir_evete: Ayes-B1acx! Hale -,'Keeney, Deaver and Polendorf. Noes -None.
In -response to• a call •-for 'bids •for doing the official adver-
tising and printing of the City for the fiscal year ending,lune 30,
1915, the following-seal'ecrproposals were opened and read: .
• . For kdvertising--The Lodi sentina1,75 cents -per square for -the
first insertion and 50 cents per square for each subsequent insertion.
For Advertising—The Lodi Post, 25 cents per square.for the
first insertion and 20 cents per square for each subsequert'insertion.
- Upon motion regularly made, seconded and carried the bid of the
Lcii Post was aceeptea and the Post was declared the official paper
of the City of Lodi for the fiscal year ending Tune 30; 1915.
There being but one bid for the official printing—tnat.of the
Lodi Sentinel --the matter of placing the printing was referred to
the Co i littee of the. Whole. -
The application of A. F. t,avanaugt for a saloon license upon
being read and found regular it ,teas upon notion duly made and car-
ried oraer`ed that the application take the regular course pre-
scribed by Ordinnr_ce No. 78.
.G. Piazza applied for a: hotel :,iquor license to- cover the
balance of the present quarter under Ordinance io. 65. -It was.-
movee by . T`. ustee Ke- .,ey, .seconded b3y Trustee Black, that the
license be not granted, e i cli -motion was unanimously carried. _ .
F. H. Scners, on behalf of the City, Street Improvement Com-
pany, of San Francisco, presented specifications -for El nsico
pavement, concrete gutters and concrete -curbs for' the proposed-.
