to cover the proposed charges.
The monthly:rreport of Plumbing Inspector Benring was 'read a.nd
ordered filed.
B131s amounting to 44.3x4.95, weresallowed and ordered paid.
Tne.pomgittee.on,Firance and -Revenue -presented a written re-
port�in the matter -of City Treasurer's .bond, recommending:that the
amount be flied at ;11-0,000. Upon notion regularly made. and second-
ed. the recommendation of the -committee was adopted by the tollow-
ing yoye: Aye8—Black,,Keenzey, Deaver, Hale. 'aloes--Bolend.orf.
Superintendent of. Public Utilities Herring Trade verbal re-
port in the matter of electric service in the newly annexed dis-
trict, row owned by the Western States Gas and Electric Corapary,
to the effect ,that• the company is willing to enter into negotia-
tions with the,city as to taking over the business.

Upon motionregularly made and seconded the Utilities Com-
mittee was instructed to take up, with full power to act, the -
natter of Gonetructirg a sewer on Math street to give service to
trig trult sheds of J. V. Bare and otters.
• The matter; of putting on a third street sprinkling wagon
and of sprirklirg the streets with light oil was.lnformali,y dis-
cusses and referred,to the _street superintendent.
Upon notion the Superintendent of Public Utilities was au-
thorized to extend the water system in order to give service to
Mrs. L. Bechtold at 320 north Pleasant Avenue.
The. -City Marshal reported that waste paper reuse cans on t*lP
street$ are being used for swill and garbage contrary Lo•tbe purpose
for which they were intended.
Upon motion duly made and seconded the board adjourned to meet
Wednesday, May 20th, at 7:30 p.m. J.
