In regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Lodi, held the date above written, there were present Trustees Mont-
gomery, Hale, Croke and Hickok. Absent Trustee Rich.
Mixaztee of the adjourned regular meeting of December 13th,
were read and approved.
A petition was filed sided by the owners of all the property
fror_ti:,a on the alley running east and west through a portion of block
11, Hutchins Addition, from Lee Avenue to BUtchins Street, asking the
Board to order the paving of said alley. The Clerk was instructed to
notify petitioners that as soon as the City is in position to install
the necessary water pipes a permit would be granted to pave said alley
by private contract.
North River Insurance Company's policy .,;o. AC83496, covering
42500.0n tha City's fire truck, presented by V. R. Larson, was ac-
cepted.
Ir. the matter of a proposed new tax ordinance it was decided
to wait until Trusted Rich could be 'Present before taking any defin-
ite action.
The City Engineer was instructed to establish the lines of an
alley running east and west through block 2, Barnhart Tract, it having
been rePorted to the Board that fences ana buildings were encroaching
on the public highway.
Ten applications for building pe rmits were read, granted and
ordere d filed.
Miscellaneous bills amounting to 42639.36, having been passed
by the auditing coprittee, were allowed and ordered paid.
