In regular session of the Board o, Trustees of the City of Lori there were Present Trustees Montgomery, Hale, Cro.e, Hickok and Rich. Minutes of the regular meeting of September 20th, 1920,were read and approved. The City Cler'k's report for the year ending June 30, 1920, was presented and referred to the Finance Committee. Report of the City Marshal for the month of September was read, accepted and ordered filed. Handel Bros. Tire & Auto Supply Company was granted permit to install an air pole in front of their business location at 1144 Y. Sacramento Street. The petition filed September 13, 1920, asking the Board of Trustees to call a special election to elect a Board of Freehold- ers, having been verified by .the County Clerk and found to contain signatures of 206 qualified electors, which number was insuffi- cient as it did not constitute 15 per cent of the registered voters in the City of Lodi at the time of filing, and which total number was certified by the County Clerk as 1540, withdrawal of said pe- tition was requested by R. J. Custer, by whom it was filed. Upon motion of Trustee Hale, seconded by Trustee Rich, the request for withdrawal of above mentioned petition was granted. Superintendent Henning filed plana, specifications and esti- mates for extensions and improvements to be made in the sanitary sewers and water words systems, and City Engineer Barzellotti filed o1ans, specifications and estimates of necessary extensions to be made in the storm sewers, in compliance with the request of the Board of Trustees of September 20th. The above matters were laid on the table. Seven applications for building permits were read, granted and ordered filed. Miscellaneous bills amounting to 08241.98, :song been passed by tile ;inane Committee, were allowed and ordered paid. Superintendent Henning was granted leave of absence for two weeks. No further business appearing tine Board adjourned until the next regular meeting October 18th, 1920. Attest; City Cleric.
