The Board of Trustees convened in regular session at 8 o'clock P.ri..,th e meeting being called to order by President Montgomery. There were present Trustees tiontoomery.,kich and Hickok.Absent:.Trustees Hale and Grose. City C1erk,H.S.Clark,being absent,Trustee Rich acted as City Clerk pro tem.. The minutes of May 3rd,I920 were read and approved.. A ccmmunication from _.W.Webster,General Manager of the Central California Traction Co.,Stockton,enclosing a communication from the Secretary -Treasurer of his company in regard to paving the company's right of way on Lodi Ave. was read and laid on the table. Th e Bond of H.S.Clark,City C1-'rk,ir_ the sum of 33000.00,for four years,was read and on motion of Trustee Hickok seconded by Trustee Rich accepted. The Gran t from Fred S.Jacics and Grace G.Jacks of a parcel of land in the Lodi Barnhart Tract for a public street was read ant ordered filed. seventeen applications for building permits were read ana granted.T e application of H.M.Atkirson to move and remodel five scall buildings a on rear of Lots 6 & 7,Block 31 on 3.Locust Street was referred to Fire Chief Stark for report as to fire hazard. Superintendent Henning was instructed to install sewers in .Block 3 of HUtchinVs Lodi Union High School Addition. Mr.Claman of Burke i Claman's traveling theatrical shows asked the Board for a reduction in the License for his shows,and the Board_ granted him a permit to show the week of May 17th to May 23ra,1920 for 435.00.
