The Board of Trustees of the City of -Lodi convened in reg- ular egular session at S o'clock p.m., there being present Trustees ,tont- gomery, Hale, Rich and Hickok. Trustee Grose absent. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Mrs. Rebecca J. Ivory was granted permission to move a building from 115 West Pine Street to the west 30 ft of lot 7 and E 20 ft of lot 7, block 5, on W. Walnut Street F. F. Irey was granted permission to move a building from outside the city to the E. 40 ft of lot 7, block 41, East Elm St. RESOLUTION N0. 106 In the matter of the Application of PACIFIC FRUIT EXCHANGE, INCORPORiTED, (a corporation), for a spur track. Resolution Finding Due Publication and approval of Ordi- RESOLVED, that it appeaing to the satisfaction of this, the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California, by the affidavit of Delmar B. Binfret, the prin- cipal Cler K of the printer and publisher of The Northern San Joaquin County News, which is a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published semi-weekly, in the City of Lodi, County of San Joa- quin, State of California, for one time, and in the Danner required .by law, in accordance with the Reso1utidn of this, the Board or Trus- tees of the City of Lodi, which said Resolution was duly pasaed and adopted at a aue and regular meeting or this Board of Trustees,held on the 26th day of April, 1920; nance. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this, the Board or Trustees of the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California, does find, and it is hereby found as a fact, that Ordinance No. 113 has been published for the time, and in the manner required by law; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said ordinance No. 113, having been finally passed by this, the Board or Trustees of the said City of Lodi, be, and the same hereby is,. finally passed and approved by this, the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi, and the President of this Board of Trustees be, and.he hereby is, oraerea and directed to approve the same. Dated: This 3rd day of May, 1920. The Toregoi<ng resolution No. 106 was adopted by the fol- lowing vote: Ayes: Trustees Hale, Eic;cok, Rich and Montgomery. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee Croke. by City Treasurer Lorenz filed his bond as Treasurer in the amount of sixty thousand dollars , and the same having been passed on by the City Attorney, was upon.motion of Trustee HickoK,seconded by Trustee Ricn, approved and ordered placed on file with the City cleric. Upon motion o: Trustee Hale, seconded by Trustee Rich, City Treasurer Lorenz was granted a two -months leave of ausence. George !eagle and Zoe Newfield representing the Business Mens' Association requested the Board to appropriate for the use of their organization $F300 for promotion work. The matter was taken unde r advisement. Upon request -of Ed Spiekerman and T. Donadio for sewer fa- cilities on South School Street., Supt. Henning was instructed to proceed with the work of extending the sewer mains about 500 feet in South School Street as soon as practicable. The monthly report of Sewer Inspector Henning for the month of April was read and ordered filed. RESOLUTION NO. 107. In the matter of the application of PACIFIC FRUIT EXCHANGE, INCORPORATED, (a corporation), for a spur track. Resolution Finding Acceptance of Franchise. Ordinance No. 113, in, by and under which Pacific Fruit Ex - c ha:roe, Incorporated, (a corporation), was granted a franchise having been finally passed and adopted by this, the Board of Trus- tees of the City of Lodi, and said corporation having, at a due and regular meeting of the Board of _Trustees of the City of Lodi-, held on the 3rd day of May, 1920, filed its written consent to the aforesaid Ordinance, as required by the said Ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the written consent of the said Pacific Fruit Exchange, Incorporated, (a corporation), to the aforesaid Ordinance be, and the same here by is, received, ..-riled and rade a ratter of record.herein.
