The Board of Trustees of the City or Lodi convened in reg-
ular
ejular session at d o'clock , the meeting being called to order by
Presidet of the Board C. A. Biao<. There were present Trustees Bla3I,
Hale, erose a__.. Morehead. Trustee Montgomery absent on leave.
Minutes of the meeting of De;,em ler 1st were read and ap-
proved.
Herman 1:er_:el a_plied for pe-: Nasion. to remove a number of
olive trees from in fr;,nt of foto 5 and 6, block A, Sturla Tract, on
Soutt. C.t roh Street, which was granted.
The a1ication cf :.:r3,.V. Hall for the Position of Ma-
tron at the Municipal 3aths ;as read and ordered filed.
Nineteen applications for building permit;, aggregating
.,33,230 were read, granted and ordered filed.
The City Planning Commission re_-orted with the Following
recommendation:
"That the street trees of the City of Lodi being badly in
need of topping and trimming, the Board of Trustees employ some ex-
perienced nen to do such wor c under .,he did ..tion of the City Plan-
ning Commission."

the 3urerinten;:ent of Streets was authorized to employ men to -trim
and to; the shade trees on East Pine Street aria other places in the
Cit,; of Loji where necessary.
A written protest against the erection of a store build-
ing flus: with the property line or the property of George Nance on
East Locust street, and si6ied by W. T. Kimball and sixty-two others,
was read, discussed and ordered filed, and the matter taken Under ad-
vise= i t .
J. W. Croce, representing the American Legion, requested t
the Board to ras::.;:a some arrangerat nt to have the City Flag lowered at
S n et an raised at sunrise, according to U. S. i.ri:y custom. The

Resolution of Intention No. 26 of the Board of Trus Nees of the City
O: Lodi, passed September 22nd, 1919,) be ulna the same is hereby ap-

Streets.
Upon motion of Trustee Hale, secon leu by Trustee Crose,
the foregoing resolution No. 75 was adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Hale, Mora?:ead, Crose and 31aC<.
