ORDINANCE NUMBER 110.
"Ari Ordinance Regulating the Planting, the Removal and Care of
Trees and Shrubs in the City of Lodi," was read and introduced for
passage and upon motion of Trustee Montgomery, seoondei by TrUatee
Grose, was laid on the title for not less than five days.
Major Walter Garrison addressed the Board as representative
of the American Legion and requested that the City reconsider its
action of November ere and not remove the "100„,e American” sig from
he Tosay Arch.

H. M. Seith stated tee membership of the Corr agLtioral Church

Dan W. Bird, in a rousing; patriotic speech urged the Boari to

Trustee Montgomery moved, seconded by TrusteeCrose, that the

Board.
Tee request of E. -Archer that the City remove the dirt from
the basement of the new Christian Ceuroa was referred to the Street
Committee.

Upon notion c= Trustee Montgomery, seconded by Trustee More-
head, the above appointments were ay_roved by t r. :1Wous vote of the
