In regular adjourned session of the Board of Trustees of the
City of Lodi there were present Trustees Hale, Crose, Montgomery and
Morehead. President of the Board Black absent. Trustee Hale was
chosen to preside.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Building permits were granted to the following:
3. W. Hickok, private garage, 433 East Elm street.
M.E.Church, church building, cor Church and Oaic Streets.
W. W. Madge, manager of the 01ymp1c Baths of Stockton, ad-
dressed the 3aord in the interests fo the Bath House Association
and recommended that the Lodi Municipal Baths become a member for the
advertising value to the baths and the added advantage of being able
through -the association to purchase supplies at 30;; to 40; less than
at present prices. The matter was taken under advisement.
RESOL-JTION XT0. 50.
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Board of Trustees
of the City of Lodi, California, this 16th day of June, 1919, a mag or
plat of. a tract of land and subdivision of the same laid out in lots
for the purpose of sale, which map is entitled, "BLACK TRACT", and is
attested by a civil engineer from his own survey of the ground; and
WHEREAS, such map shows plainly all parcels of land offered
for dedication for public use; and
WHEREAS, the location and size of the parcels offered for
use as streets and alleys confrom with the lines and size of the ad-
-joining streets and alleys; and
WHEREAS the City gineer of the City of Lodi has recom-
mended the accep,anoe of said plat; be it
RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi,
County of San Joaquin, Staff of California, that said map be and the
same is hereby approved; that the Clerk of this Board be, and is
hereby authorized and directed to endorse upon said map the approval
of this Board; be it further
RESOLVED, that the streets and alleys offered for dedication
for public use be and the same are hereby accepted as public property
forever..
Upon emotion of Trustee Montgomery, sedorlded by Trustee More-
head the foregoing resolution was adopted by the following vote;
Ayes; Trustees Montgomery, Morehead, Crose and Hale.
Noes: None.
Absent; Trustee Black.
Bills amounting to $3689.69, having been passed by the aud-
iting committee were allowed and ordered paid.
