In regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Lodi there were present Trustees Black, Keeney, Crose and Montgomery.
Trustee }tale absent.
Minutes of the previous mseting were read and. approved.
The following building permits were granted:
F. F. Tray, apartment house, lot 5, block 43, Ivory Addition.
Mrs. C. Frandsen, dwelling lot 16, block 5, Barnhart Tract.
S. McBlothlen, dwelling, lot 7, block 9, Barnhart Tract.
E. Vernon, addition to dwelling, lot 6, block 4, HU.tchins Ad-
dition.
Mrs. G. B. Barbee, dwelling lot 58, Barnhart Tract.
Miller Scott to remove and remodel dwelling lot 8, block 35,
City of Lodi.
A. A. Eels, garage, 215 west First Street.
R. Senner, dwelling, lot 5, block B, Barnhart Tract.
The Board of Health reported that the finish on the floor in
Maple Hall, the use of which was donated for a hospital during the
vfluu epidemic, had been damaged and requested the City to pay the ex-
pense of having the floor sanded and rewaxed. The President of the
Board assured the members of the Health Board that the matter would
be taken care of.
Trustee Keeney presented his resignation as a member of the
Board of Trustees to take effect April let, or at such time not later
than that date, which would be convenient fdr the Board.
Mrs. E. Y. Powers asked for extension of the sewer system to
lot 12. Neil subdivision, on Washington street. No action was taken.
H. B. Coleman and the Sanguinetti heirs having presented a
satisfactory deed transferring land pursuant to Resolution !o. 34,
adopted February 5, 1919, Trustee Montgomery moved, seconded by
Trustee Crose, that the said deed be accepted and recorded and that
warrants asountine to $1000 be drawn in payment as provided in said
resolution. The Lotion waa adopted.

1:1scellanecus claims amounting to V'+171.37 were allowed and or-
dered paid.
It was moved by Trustee 20 ntgomery, seconded by Trustee Crose,
that the City Engineer be instructed to specify in the plans and
specifications heretofore ordered for the improvement of Zee Avenue,
Locust street and the alley from Lee Averue to riutchiris street, be—
tween Pine and Elm streets, a Warrenite pavement consisting.of a
three—inch base with a one—inch wearing surface. The motion was ad—
opted by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Montgomery, Cross, Black and Keeney.
Noes: gone.

Upon motion of Trustee Montgomery, seconded by TrusteeCrose,
the Board adjourned to meet again. Friday, larch .7, 1919, at eight
o'clock p. si. ,
