In regular session of the Board of Trustees of to City of Lodi there were present Trustees Black, Hal, Keeney, Crose an. Mont— gomery. Mimites of the previous meeting were read ana approved. ?wilding and rein:al permits were granted as follows: G. G. Homfeldt, poultry house 5'+3 Flora street. Harry Lind, duelling, lot 15, block 4, Lodi Barnhert Tract. Mrs. Frandsen_, dwelling, lot 15, block 5, Lodi Barnhart Tract. Rudolph Miller, stable, 218 West Oak street. S. dcGlothlen, dwelling, 521 Washington street,Barnhart Tract. T. F.. Balser, to remove building from lot 3, block 2, to lo— cation outside city. In the matter of the application of G. Giordano Company, a corporation, for a license to sell and serve vinous and malt liquors with :gals in the Europa Hotel, the City Clerk reported that the appli— cation had been properly filed, advertised and the bond approved by the president of the Board, all in accordance with the provisions of Ordinances `os. 73 and 101; that no protests against the granting of said license had been presented. Trustee Crose moved, seconded by Trustee Montgomery, that the petition for a license to sell and serve vinous and malt liquors with mals, by G. Giordano Company at the Europa Hotel, be denied for the reason that there are at present two such licensed places on Main street in the City of Lodi. The foregoing motion was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees Crose, Montgomery, Hale and Black. Noes: Trustee Keeney. Absent: one. City Ereineer Barzellotti presented a report, accompanied by lap, of the result of h13 investigation of the matter of building a complete storm sewer system for frainage of the City of Lodi. The report and map were ordered filed. Upon motion of Trustee Keeney the City Engineer was author— ized to asoartain at an early date chat arrangements could be made to connect the proposed storm sewer system with the ditch of the Mokel— umne Canal Company. Brigrran f Keeney were authorized to renew the insurance or. the fire engine for one year. Miscellaneous bilis amounting to 21053.84 were allowed and ordered paid. The Board adjourned.
